In January 2014 the HUNGARIAN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA had been invited for 2 concerts at the well known HONG KONG CULTURAL CENTER during a tour to Asia. The concerts have been recorded for TV in Hong Kong and were the highlight of this trip to Asia by the orchestra.
Programm of this concerts were works by Verdi, Brahms, Rimsky-Korsakow and Strauss. The concerts were sold-out and highly acclaimed by the local press and radio for its excellent musical quality and highest standard of orchestra playing.
The tour has been supported by AEROFLOT airline and was undertaken in collaboration with the HONG KONG CHORUS SOCIETY.
